Forensic Science

This term in the Waikekewai Syndicate we have been learning about forensic science. Forensic Science involves finding clues and piecing together a puzzle, and solving mysteries left behind at a crime scene. Forensics scientist search the crime scene for fingerprints and compare them to fingerprints of suspects.

Over the past couple of weeks we have had heaps of fun completing science lessons with the teachers. We have loved being scientists and detectives! Some experiments we have done are:
Finding out the D.N.A of a strawberry
Paper chromatography
Height to foot calculations
Fingerprinting
Secret messages
